Driving Range and Short Game
The St Andrews Links Trust operates 7 golf courses under their management including the new Castle Course which officially opened by HRH Prince Andrew in July 2008. Also within St Andrews town is a driving range and short game facility home to the delivery of world class instruction by St Andrews Golf School.

The facilities are home to 24 undercover bays, up to 40 open air bays played from high quality Astroturf, a conference room and one of the best short game areas with an extensive championship maintained putting green, two chipping greens and three bunkers one which is a replica of the famous 'Road Hole' bunker on the 17th hole, Old Course.
Location
The St Andrews Links Driving Range when travelling from Dundee/Cupar is off the A91 just before the 'Old Course Hotel'. There are signs for the Eden golf course and the St Andrews links Practice Centre shortly before the junction.
If travelling from Leven/Lundin Links, continue on Largo Road through St Andrews travelling through 3 roundabouts. When you arrive at the fourth roundabout (Links Golf opposite) turn left as if you are heading out of St Andrews towards Dundee/Cupar then right at the next roundabout and continue past the 'Old course Hotel' with the practice centre visible on the right.
How to get here:
By Road
From Edinburgh: Take the A90 over the Forth bridge (toll bridge) which connects to the M90. Continue north until junction 7 and take the A91 following the signs to St Andrews. Journey time is approximately one hour.
From Glasgow: Take the M8 towards Edinburgh, and turn onto the A80 seven miles outside Glasgow. Continue on the M80 over the Kincardine Bridge which leads to the M90 (junction 6). Head north on the M90 until junction 7. Take the A91 and follow signs to St Andrews. Journey time is approximately one and a half hours.
Rail
The nearest rail station to St Andrews is at Leuchars with a journey time either by taxi or bus service of approximately 10 minutes.
